Who I Am
I am a double board-certified child and adult psychiatrist, interested in the intersection of parent-child development.
My Timeline
At age eleven I revealed my aspirations to become a child psychiatrist and writer in an interview with my local newspaper after becoming a Kid-to-Kid advice columnist.
Over two decades I completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship, served as Contra Costa County Lead Child Psychiatrist, trained primary care doctors and therapists, and practiced psychiatry for patients at every developmental stage—all while raising my boys in tandem.
Today, I have become increasingly interested in supporting and validating parents and children at the intersection of their development.
